I've never gotten into chess that much. Once I learned some of the tricks it lost some of its magic for me - but I know many that love it. I worked with a guy that was really amazing at it. He goes into Harvard Square and plays the masters there and sometimes makes money off of it. He does the thing where he plays multiple people at once and fast and shit.
He is a total pompous dick, but really good at chess.

I just never could get into it - loves me some scrabble though.
with my limited vocabulary and poor spelling, one would thing that I wouldn't like that game... but you'd be wrong.
