Anyone I forgot

I hope your days are going well and thanks for doing all the motherly stuff that you do

So many lovely mothers on EF. I feel blessed.

Oh jeez, I completely forgot. Again...

:worried:

I guess the silver lining to take from this is I don't have to bother with Father's Day either, in the interests of consistency and what not.

So what did your kids all do for you anyway? There might be hope for me yet!

My girls picked flowers out of our landscape outside :worried: lol and put them in a cup for me. My daughter also made me two cards at school that she gave to me. They are taking me out to eat this afternoon. Hubby of course is paying though as mine are too little :)

I bought my moms a Gardina(sp?) bush. She loves gardening and flowers.

My Monika called me. My Mari made me a card in school and read it to me over the phone - was very moving. My Nini and I have had a hard time communicating as of late. I am not bothered that she didn't reach out as I know how she feels. We are just afraid of being let down yet again... but I am trying to remain hopefull.

My Monika asked me what I was doing today. I told her that after the really nice breakfast the Old Grump made me I was going to go back to bed. She said, "I knew you would feel that way, that's why I called." She felt better that I told her because of her call I feel happier now and will go out for the day.

Apparently all of my children are spending the day with their friends and their moms instead of being forced to be with my exbitchster-in-law so I am glad that they will at least be with people who are nice.

This is the third Mother's Day that we have been parted but I am feeling hopefull that it will be THE LAST.

Have a wonderful day all. :)

thank you! very nice thread!

we had a full house last night, so the kids and i went out to breakfast yesterday and my husband took me out to a steakhouse last night. just us. This morning, I slept late, went and got a pedicure, went to starbucks, and grocery shopping. came home and my son helped me put everything away.

Now i'm home alone and debating about taking a nap, working in my studio, or going for a walk to my vegetable garden that my hubby built me (it's big).
