hang up, or disconnect?

if you were having a heated "debate" (argument) with someone (needtogetas) about something (whether or not to ban a member) and then you said something strongly worded and then the person was suddenly not on the phone....

would you think they hung up on you (very very bad), or got disconnected because you were both on cell phones?

what if they did NOT call you back?

It wouldn't matter if they called back or not, I wouldn't answer. I'm very hard headed.
 
Yep, hang up. There would have been a call back had it been a disconnection.

When it comes to people hanging up on me. Usually it is a girlfriend. I wont ever answer their call back. Nothing pisses me off more than someone hanging up the phone on me on purpose. No matter how heated the conversation is at the time.

my wife hangs up on me everytime i say something that hurts her feelings (not often. . .couple times a year maybe). . .i always call her back, find out what i did wrong (i usually have no clue. . .i'm a d00d afterall), and then i generally apologize for hurting her feelings. . .women, as a general rule, tend to be a bit more sensitive than men (that's what makes them great wives, moms, etc) and should be treated accordingly :whatever:

anyone else hangs up on me? frig'um. . .

I hang up on people not even knowing i did it except puddle monkey he's not worthy of a goodbye with all his stalking that i have to put up with.

Funny, the one thing that truly, truly infuriates my husband is if I hang up on him. If we're having a disagreement on the phone and I say "I'm hanging up now before I say something stupid," that's alright, but he gets LIVID if I hang up on him. He'll call me and flip out, which is completely out of character for him.

He's a funny duck, most guys don't give a shit.

oh, i totally give a shit. . .she's really just so sweet most of the time and her heart is always in the right place and her intentions are always the best. . .i'm a guy, and as such, i can be a bit abrasive from time-to-time. . .i recognize that about myself, and i try to always right my wrongs, particularly when it comes to the wimminz in my life. . .she's a very patient and flexible person. . .if she hangs up on me, i've given her a very good reason, generally speaking. . .i'll call back and say "did you hang up on me" and she'll say yes, and i'll ask why, and 99% of the time, after she's done explaining it, i see her point and i say "dang. i'm sorry." and that's it, problem solved and everyone is happy again. . .i wasn't always like this, though. . .it took a lot of practice :)

yep, i prefer this as well since otherwise i'd have to drive the the location of the person to let them know who they are really dealing with..

just as I was about to ask why he hung up on me, he asked why i hung up on him.

I said, "don't disrespect me dude and I won't have to!"




ok, no i didn't. I said I didn't hang up on him. Then I asked to speak to the boss and he put angel on the phone.

there was definitely some conclusions drawn and tomorrow is definitely tuesday.
 
I am rude...(like you guys don't already know this about me!!!)

I would call the mf back and be like "why the fuck did you hang up on me"..Don't care if it is friend, relative, or colleague..I don't play like that at all. Point being is that you never know if it were a cell phone drop, or rudeness..Better to be safe than sorry because the other person may feel the same way.

Whatever tho
