Seems to be that in most cases... but he should try clearin ghis cookies and trying again first.

they told me that when mine expired that if I didnt pay again then I would lose my username. I blew up, because I chose to support the site and not just free load, I lost my name, where as if I never gave a dime to the site I would get to keep everything. Well I posted my thoughts on this in every major forum, and within minutes had my name back

If anything I can see cancelling long time users with a large post count if they never have supported elite. I for one think it is a little strange that they haven't fixed this yet, i know there are a lot of people who have had to start over because of this and I can't belive they are still cancelling users if they don't renew platinum.

I feel just the opposite. There are a lot of people who have been here a long time and never contributed. The Chat Board is being dragged into an early grave by non-Plats who are immature and idiotic. Non - Plats who don't contribute need to go.

Needsize's account was reinstated (IMHO) for one reason - he was a long time member who GREATLY contributed to the site.. even if he wasn't plat.

I pay for a Platinum membership for one reason... I want to support the site. These upgrades aren't free.
