I have severe male pattern baldness. But, I have had 5 hair transplants so I have a full head of hair.

3 yrs ago I started taking 1.25 mg proscar. It stopped or slowed down my hairloss. However, It made me feel like shit. My libido went down, depressed, lost strength, and had trouble keeing muscle. So, I went to a HRT dr. He had my dht tested. it was almost 0. This is not good. Dht is very important. Dr. said proscar is very dangerous and has effected alot of men this way.

So, I stopped and I feel better. But, I have noticed my hairloss has picked back up. So, Dr. prescribed nizoral 2% shampoo. And, I am going to start taking spiro.

3,500 will provide good coverage. The lighter and curlier the hair is the more thicker it appears.

I have heard from my Dr. that you shouldn't go much over 3,000 grafts

Remember to not let them bring your hairline down too much bc you will look stupid at 50 w/a 20 yr olds hairline.

I'm in my 20's with a 50 y/o hairline. Thanks for the info. Hope that shampoo works for you. If you see good results, postup. Alot of balding folks here, including myself.

Its actually getting cheaper now. My last one was $4.50 per graft. He usually charges more. But, I am a good customer. You can always get free ones if you are nice the the dr. and especially the girls who cut the hairs into grafts.

and read up on XANDROX15 it has minoxidil at 15% in it (thats 3 times more than rogain XS) Also, look into spiro. I am going to start it.

Did any of u ever consider just shaving your head? Seriously, there is nothing sexier than a man with a nice smooth shaven head! Unless his hair is grey. GOD - how I love a man with grey hair!!!
