for another fucking waitering job...christ i hate these jobs but no one will hire a friggen college student around here. The interview was re-fucking-diculous.
Interviewer: what do you like about the business?
me: cash...fast money
Interviewer: What do you dislike?
me: everything else
Interviewer: elaborate.
me: being a slave to ignorant people, working nights, working weekends, never getting a break, waiting on people stupider and less educated than me, who demand more from me then i can give them, and then they leave a shitty tip.
i dont know how or why this came out, but the interview took a turn there:
Interviewer: i hate it too, the fucking nights, the long ass slave hours, i dont even know what im doing here.
(this guy interviewing me is one of the Floor managers, makes a decent living (65K a year around)
he then goes on to tell me hes 30, getting a divorce, and is getting back in the gym after his bitch wife didnt want him going when they got married, so we then got on the topic of gyms, working out, training splits, etc. The interview turned into a friggen male bonding session. i basically got the job right there...maybe being openly honest can work once in a while.
