gyno surgery

Having it next Wednesday. Didn't have to plead much of a case, just said that I've had that big-ass lump since puberty and that it keeps getting irritated. Sounds like it's gonna hurt though....he already wrote me a prescription for vicatin. Anyone gone through this? How bad is the pain?

No shit dude...I did...and you can hardy see any scars. They didn't take absolutely all of it though and that kind of pissed me off. Tell the surgeon to try to get all the little threads that seem to go off from the center of the nipple area.

If you have enough affected tissue AND he takes it all then you will never have a prob with gyno again for obvious reasons.

You should be happy in a way dude, really, it's no big deal.

TrialOr....did you have the surgery too or are you talking about the gyno pain? Well for me the gyno pain was way worse than the surgery pain......

WTF...if you can do reps in the Squat,, all out, then that pain is way worse than surgery pain !:bawling:

It depends on what procedure you are having done.

I had mine done on nov 26. I have the full procedure...lypo and excision. If you are just having the excision, it should not hurt much. However, if you are having lypo, it will hurt. My whole chest was balck and blue for 2 weeks. But, the results are well worth it. Good luck and say good bye to those tits!

Not having the lypo. That looks like it would fucking kill. Hey, i'm kinda pissed....my left nipple is the fucked up one that protrudes like crazy and he said that he's gonna get rid of almost all the extra tissue. But, I didn't complain about the right one, so I guess he's gonna leave it....but it's a little puffy too...not anything resembling the left one, but still not great. So I guess I'll be uneven.

Questions:

1)Is your gyno a hard lump or the softer variety?

2)Is your insurance paying for it?

3)How did you find the doctor who recommended you for surgery?

Don't worry about it.It was nothing for me and I had it bad on both sides. The only thing is I wish he stayed on my nipple instead of below for the incision, but in actual fact it's okay because I have both sides of my chest tattooed solid so we just brought the tattoos down over the scars. The doc left a tube in me for a week to get rid of excessive bleeding, make sure your doc does it because the friends that I know that had it done without a drain had to go back in to the hospital to get a big syringe stuck back in to drain the blood{painful}.I took a month off of work but could have worked after two weeks, and the tynenol 3's were good enough for the job.It was my first surgery and I was scared as all hell but the worst part was the IV and getting the staples out so I popped two percocets before getting the staples taken out so it took the edge off.
Get this, the doc actually forgot one of the staples in me as he didn't see it and the last thing that I wanted to do is get him to yank it out so I grabbed it with small pliers and yanked the fucker out myself. That hurt but I do much better putting myself through pain than letting someone else do it to me.Anyways I would do it again without thinking twice,so go for it.

1) It's in between. It's a medium hardness lump. It started as strictly a hard lump when I was 13, but got fucked up when I thought andro was a good idea and when I liked the taste of dbols.
2) Yes
3)My mother is a nurse and she works with this guy. When I went in, he said, oh yeah, this isn't a big deal, we have bodybuilder guys get this all the time.

? for Realgains

Hey Realgains,
How long did it take for the scars to go away. I had mine done on May 7th of this year. The doc did go through the lower nipple line, however, my scars are still very much noticable. Thx for you're help.

If its just oversensitivity, there's nothing for them to operate on. In due time my friend, you too will have hooters if they're overly sensitive.

The scars are red, of course, for quite for time. Mine went white after a couple years and you can't hardly see them

***********Whatever you do dudes make sure the surgeon stays on the lower edge of the nipple line in a "half moon" cut or less. They can really get all over the nipple area, and surrounding regions, in this way, with a little skin pulling....I know I work in the OR as an RN. There is usually no need to go below the lower nipple line!
