gyno surgery question

First question: I'm wondering if gyno surgery is covered by insurance or if its considered plastic surgery?
I never thought that my fat on my chest was gyno till i was feeling it and noticed its a different type texture of fat, I'm totally bummed, but it feels just like my girlfriends breasts. I may have it checked when she goes in for implants, the Dr does gyno surgery too. When I was about 12 i put on alot of weight but have lost nearly all of it, my chest and my stomach are seriously the only place i carry fat on my body. its a drag i have to get it surgically removed. I'm using the yomiburn right now to see how that goes first, but even when i was 205 i still had the chest fat. I'm at 270 now.

Insurance didn't cover mine. Search my posts on the topic, I detailed what the procedure was like some time ago.

As of April 30, 1998, Gyno Operation was considered plastic surgery and was no longer covered by medical insurance ( Canada ). You can expect to pay $1750 - 2250 for this type
of surgery. ( Canadian Dollars)

cosmetic surgery isn't covered BUT i've heard of people claiming it is very painfull and hurts them, and therefore insurance may cover it with a note from your doc.

I'm having surgery april 8th.
