Gyno Recovery

Hello Brothers, I had gyno a long time ago on my left side and got it removed by a plastic surgeon. Four Days after I had the surgery, I removed the bandages and it was as good as new.

3 years later, the problem occurred again, but this time only on my right side. I went and had it removed april of this year. This time however, when I removed the dressing, my nipple was very swollen, the same size that it was before I had the surgery done. The doctor aspirated it, but the swelling eventually came back and became hardened to the size of how bad it was originally.

Last week I went back to the doctor who numbed the area w/ topical anasthesia, and used liposuction to remove the lump. He then rapped me up in 2 ace bandages and told me to come back monday (surgery was thursday). When I came to him on monday, everything seemed great, he said I should keep the bandage on for another week and would be good to go.

When I removed the bandage this time it looked good at first, and then gradually got worse and worse, when 3 hours hit, it was back to the original size. I quickly used a hot compress / cold compress to help eleviate the symptoms and put some yohimburn on the chest area, then rerapped it in the ace bandage. My question is this: Is there hope for me? Or am I going to have to live with this forever? Does anyone have any advice or been throught anything like this? What else should/can i do to help this process? Please help if you can. Many thanks, deify3

Sounds like you need a new doctor. I would be pissed as hell if that was me. You probably paid alot to get that done too plus the pain and all that. Go in there and tell him he better fix it right or you will roid rage on his ass. J/K.

I agree I had this done on both many years ago. It is a simple removal. How can that go wrong you cut it out. Find a new doc.

This sounds like a local swelling problem due to something that happened during the surgery; NONE of us are your doctor, I suggest you go to another doctor and seek a 2nd opinion on this matter - not on EF.

The doctor is no good. Liposuction only removes fat and leaves most breast tissue. There is a good doc in NJ I think...

Swelling after surgery depends on the original problem, what was done, skill of your surgeon, complications, aftercare, how you heal and other factors best explored with your surgeon or someone you see for a second opinion. Tissues usually evolve after an operation. I prefer techniques that tend to minimize swelling after surgery. Putting up standardized photos can help others see what you are complaining about.

Hope this helps,
