Gyno question - k for help!

Anthony Starks

New member
I have mild gyno that has not responded to letro and not being on any AS for over three months. I went to my general prac today and they felt the lumps and are going to refer me to another doc to run more tests. I said I have never taken any hormone or prohormone.

Am I wasting my time since I am 99% sure of what it is already? Any chance my insurance will pay for any of the surgery? What kind of price should I expect for surgery on mild gyno with no other lipo? On a side note, I'm done with AS for good.

1. I cant tell you about your insurance since I don't know what kind of coverage you have.
2. Tried heavy dose nolva? Aifm?
3. Maybe $3000 for the surgery, maybe less
4. You dont have to be done with gear..stick with the mild stuff...var, primo

tell them you have had it since puberty, and it really hurts when you sleep and roll on your stomach.

then they may see it and tell the ins company that it is a medical problem and not cosmetic

its worth a shot. just like letsrunforit said, you dont have to be done with gear just take the proper precautions

good luck

Blue Sheild HMO

Just nolva and letro, not AIFM, but its pretty clear its not going away

Believe it or not I got it from lab tested Var, I have no idea how. My last non-var only cycle was over a year ago.

I said it was painful and that I had a slmilar problem during puberty that went away. All the research I have been doing make me think there is no way its getting covered though, which sucks. Its mild enough that its not really noticeable, it just make my upper body look average instead of ripped which sucks.

well good luck bro. i still think it is worth a shot at getting it covered.

let us know hwat happens

What did your last cycle consist of? And how long did you run the letro and nolva (and how much of each)? It seems often people don't run letro long enough to take effect

I had a marble sized lump in my left nip that did hurt like hell. I complained of pain and that it was prohibiting me from living a comfortable life. They removed it and my insurance paid 100%.

Weren't you running ip var? Why wouldn't your insurance cover it if you say it is causing discomfort and effecting your daily work?

Believe me I'll try, but its just what I've been reading both on discussion boards and on every plastic surgeon's website I can find. I just went to the gereral prac today, in about a week my HMO should okay more tests from a specialist, then I can try to get it covered.

Usually insurance will not cover a plastic surgeon doing the work. In which case you are stuck with a regular surgeon doing the procedure, medically you will be fine, but maybe not the aesthetics you were hoping for. I'd say wait and save for a trusted plastic surgeon.

I wish you luck bro - you have an uphill battle with your HMO ahead of you.

You should run nolva at 20mgs 3 times a day (every 6-7 hours - total 60mgs/day) for 4-6 weeks. Tenderness should disappear quickly and swelling should begin to diminish within a few weeks.
After 6 weeks, you can taper the dose down to 20mg twice daily (total 40mg/day), until the lump disappears (maybe another 4-6 weeks depending).
After the lump disappears, continue at 20mg/day for another 4-6 weeks.

This has worked for me and many others here, and is less invasive than surgery and definitely worth a try before letting them cut into you!

Like I said, Nolva and Letro did not work.
