Gyno from sleeping pills WTF?

Today my doc switched my sleeping pills. Turns out these new things Lunasta are the only ones a doc is really supposed to perscribe for an ongoing perscription(I've been getting sleepin pills for year and 1/2). But he told me one of the side effects could be Gyno, tyo keep an eye on it. I didn't get to upset since I've pretty much always got Nolv here anyway, but then I got to thinking would it be estro or progest. Anyone ever heard of something like this?

never heard of gyno from sleeping pills; I've had doctors tell me that steroids will shrink you penis and make you spit blood (true story), guess what not true

Yeah he told me it was an unlikely side effect but to keep an eye out for it. He didn't even act like it was a big deal. I think I'll be calling the company that makes it if I can find the number to see how it could be causing this. Although it's very unlikely it is still something I'd like to be ready for.

well check this out, if you get gyno from steroids, now you can blame it on sleeping pills and get insurance to cover your gyno surgery

I have been taking Ambiem every night for years and have never heard that. My Pharmacist has told me that they are safe for long term use.

I might have to get a prescription for these things and then blame my pre-existing gyno on them. Get insurance to pay for the surgery lol.

No Ambien won't it's just Lunestra. But I was on Ambien for a long time to. I was told by my doc that they are being told to shift all their patients that are long time insomniacs to Lunestra as it is safer for continuous use? I'm gonna be pretty careful, but it's pretty unlikely and the only time I would think I was more volnurable than the average person was on cycle where I will deffinately be takin estro control.

ruggermu i have tried every sleeping pill under the sun, havent tried that one you are talking about but there are so many that work well fuck risking gyno, doctors don't usually lie

Yeah he is the one who said it's unlikely and basically I have to at least try switching to this because he can't leave me on the other(been on for over a year). I'm trying to trust he knows it's safe when he says it's very unlikely but these are boobs we're talkin about so that shit is SCARY!!!!!!

yeah i say get a new doc or tell him your not willing to risk it, remeron, ambien, and a host of others are out there and have worked for millions. gyno requires surgery and that is something i personally will not risk. good luck
