Gym rant. (Yes I work out, you douche.)

I was doing shoulders yesterday, and was doing push presses (new PR, 205 x 5). And this corvette driving looking douchefuck came up to me while I had the bar above my head and waves at me asking if he could go under me to grap the shoulder pad. I lowered the weight to my chest and said "You've got to be fucking kidding me. You're fucking asking me that while I had that over my head, it couldn't fucking wait?" He called me an asshole, snatched the pad, and put it on a goddamn 50 lb. curl bar so he could do walking lunges. Fag. Then he complained about me because of my language.

His wife looks like a lesbian and his hair looks like it was cut by a dull flowbie.

I'm fine with it.
my experiences with push presses are as follows
peeps start off doing strict form standing militaries
but they wanna do more weight so they start using bad form
bending knees, pushing the bar, bending back, etc...
and this morphs into a sloppy push press, which can lead to severe back injury
but wtf do i know

one time i was watching this broad warm up in the squat rack.
she did sqs, push presses, and back extensions, with only the bar
i lost track of her for a few minutes, then checked her out again
she had 225 on the bar, racked for what looked like a squat.
i thought that was impressive, and watched to see her forum
my jaw dropped when she strict form militaried it for 5-6 reps
made me feel like a douch with my massive 185 press

I like DB shoulder presses.

I would have finished the set and just looked at the guy.
If he said anything I would have explained how dangerous a situation he created.
I would explain it to him from about six inches from his face.

should have just lowered the weight to your chest and tossed it to him "here hold this, I'll get it for you"

another one is where they ask you if they can work in while you're in the middle of a set.

I don't do more than my core can handle. I like these because of the explosive movement, good for power, IMO. I usually do standing DB presses and throw these in every other week.

db presses are for mirror fags. and anyone with a squat over 300 shouldn't worry about 200 presses. unless their spindly, untrained legs buckle because they predominantly use the smith machine....
