Gym has no glute ham machine

I want to incorporate glute ham raises back into my workout but my gym doesnt have a glute ham raise machine. Any suggestions on what to use.
 
i know i can do them on the floor but I dont really have a solid training partner. hes hit or miss so I need to figure out how to do it with no partner
 
Put a loaded barbell on the floor. Use some plates to keep it from rolling. Hook your legs under the bar.

You may need to wedge a pad between your legs and the bar.
 
from zero u must have some killer ham strength to do them off the floor w/o your legs locked. Ive squatted 490 at 185 pounds and could barely do GHR with someone holding my ankles. When my college gym finally got a GHR I could knock out reps holding a 45 pound plate. It must be the positioning/ angles of the movement
