so while i'm at work, i get into a discussion w/ a coworker about what our idea of healthy is, our take on muscles on guys & girls, etc. to give you some background on this guy- he's a total prick.. the cocky, thinks-he's-always-right, refuses-to-accept-another-persons-point-of-view type of guy. he asked me if i think "wow.. that guy must be so self-centered to work out so much to get big muscles" when i see a guy w/ a good body and i told him no, i think it's great when ANYONE cares about their appearance enough to devote the time and energy it takes to get there. there's nothing wrong that.
BUT he goes on to say that he doesn't think it's possible to have work out 5x/week and actually have a life. *insert expletive here* i told him that it's not a matter of "having time" to work out, it's whether or not you MAKE time for it. i told him ALL of the women on EF have a successful career, and/or family, and work out regularly (since he was looking over my shoulder at all the fabulous avatars that are up
) i told him that i work out 5x a week and he just made this face that made me want to throw him across the room. "muscles on girls are gross... they shouldn't do that. wahwahwah." at that point i told him to leave cuz he was making me mad, so on the way out he just had to jeer and say "alright bye ms. i work out everyday" in this ridiculously condescending tone of voice. AAAARGH!!!!
