Guy lost it at the record store today

I was out shiopping, buying a dvd (Superman III) when this guy suddenly started screaming and tearing stuff down.

Apparently the clerk had caught him shoplifting or something and asked him to leave. Then the guy flipped. He was obviously either intoxicated or high on something. She called the security pretty fast, so there wasnt any problems. But i was ready to tackle him if he started getting violent with the girl.

In retrospective i belive it was the right thing to do. As long as there wasnt any personal attacks, and just some items being pushed over, confronting the guy would probably just have made it worse. What do you guy think?
 
I would never get involved...
Actually, I would hope he knocks her out so I could snag some free DVD's....
 
They arent hard to find at all.

On the serious note i have to say that ive seen an increase in drug use, and im not talking about steroids, in the area i live. Its not a big place, so you can tell right away if something is up.

i got caught shoplifting once at tower records, at the tender age of 17...i had secreted 9 CDs in various areas of my winter jacket. just as i was about to walk out the door...

i wish they had only asked me to leave.

since you only just turned 18, you must be still on probation for that shite!
 
My job is to help apprehend shoplifters. Basically, I stand in the doorway and block their way if they try to get away. Not looking forward to getting physical with anyone, but if I get punched, I'm gonna body slam that person and fuck them up twice as bad as what they do to me. I'm a Scorpio. :chomp:

A couple of kids denied they took anything the other day. We took them back to the holding room and called the police. They had hid the merchandise in the lining of their jacket. Hope they learn a lesson. If you're gonna steal, you've got to be more clever than that.

Man, you an me should totally hook up and play a round of City Of Heroes.
Or do you only play board games and not MMORPG.
