I need help identifying a gun. Let me think of a reference you will all know...ok. In "True Lies" (arnold movie, of course), what kind of gun is it that Jaimie lee curtis drops down the stairs and caps all the terrorists when she is in the keys and her and arnold are escaping? It is sqaure off everywhere, has a long clip, fully auto. Almost looks like a small Uzi.

look for a Mac-11 instead. Easier to find, especially in Florida. 9mm.

unless you want it just to say you have one, don't waste your money. If you're looking for a nice weapon for home protection, go here: http://www.benelliusa.com they're not as flashy, but you jest might actually hit someone if need be. Besides, with today's laws, you better NEVER shoot someone with a weapon like that, not even in your own home... They would try to crucify you. That and you need a class 3 FFL to own any full-auto weapons, and those are hard to get...

the thompson submachine gun was used mainly by farmers for rodent control 100 years ago. You never know if a groundhog may come up to you in some dark alley.

Dont trust your life to 9mm. Go with a .40 cal. Anyone into balistics will tell you that. Hyrda Shok .40 cal rounds have the same 1 shot stop % as 357 mag. Better yet, get a Sig .40/.357sig. Awesome!!!
I agree about using stuff like Uzi's and whatnot, you would get screwed in court explaining why you shot some robber with an "assault weapon". I have cases of SKS's that just sit there- hardly ever use them. Only when I am on "assignment". haha.
