Gulf Stream and the gov't KNEW the FEMA trailers were contaminated w/formaldehyde

So what was the post about trailers in the first line of post 43 about?

He was asking me how long did I think it would take to get all the trailers up in the area. I thought he meant specifically plaquimines Parish where many of the refineries are.

There are many in St Bernard as well. Can't forget about those folks

But these folks got hit worse in Louisiana. The New Orleans situation was more levee breaks. If the levees hold up most of this is moot

Me personally? I couldn't care less. Most of the stuff that flows into Canada are using the Vancouver and Halifax ports.

However, I'm looking at your previous statements about the challenge of rebuilding the city. Based on your previous statements, I was led to believe that's it's challenging. If it is and the city can't recover, I'm suggesting to drop it. If not, then I'm suggesting theorizing on an acceptable timetable to rebuild the city. If it can't be rebuilt in that time, then there is a gap somewhere (either the people or the management). If it continues for a certain period of time, I can buy that concept that it's management's fault. After a certain point (and after a cycle of managers), then it will start to appear that it's the people's fault.

Unfortunately I have to agree that it may be pointless if the levees can't be fixed. New Orleans is still a sitting duck without operational levees

These people only live to about 40. Drugs, booze, horrible diets and everything that goes with those things. They live like dogs and die like dogs. Trailers or not they won't be around long. In fact the trialer thing may be a plot by the gov't to keep them from multipling. LOL.

All new houses have bad chemicals floating around in them. Did anyone think that's it's a brand new trailer and it might be a good idea to air it out every couple of days? Maybe every day until you at least can't smell that new smell?

I'm not going to completely disagree there. Many of my idea on handguns come from walking the streets and people high on drugs killing others for 5 bucks happens all the time. Many people have a total disregard for human life due to their drug use , lack of exercise and motivation as well as the job situation down there. I'm playing devils advocate to an extent here , because unfortunately alot of what you say is true.

I support the class action because Gulf Stream employees got sick in creating the trailers. Not only that but people got sick and died sleeping in them.
Yes , people were killed.....
It was clear as day that those trailers were a health hazard and they were passed out anyway
Dont dodge his question broheim. What should be the punishment for those who took the FEMA debit cards (that I paid for) to purchase TVs, gold teef, chains, etc?

Simple question.

FEMA is not a bad agency. They have to be given to go ahead to help by the government. When hurricane andrew hit Fl (I lost everything in that hurricane) they really were the only ones to come to the rescue, along with the national guard. Things were getting crazy. I was afraid I was going to get murdered by looters. :worried:
