uggghhh the dreaded curler in the squat rack... well, atleast you actually use the damn thing.... which is better than 90% of all the gym rates everywhere!

this guy was doing the same thing at the gym friday (yes i lifted new years eve) and I always start HST with squats as soon as I came in he asked me if i wanted the cage but I just used a regualar squatr rack. I thought it was cool that he offered though.

very cool, in my gym nobody would ever do something like that. They will obviously let you work in a set if you want, but move from the squat rack to let someone actually squat? no way.

When I was at Bally's it was like that. 120lb guys would talk to their office buddies while benching 95 lbs and they would talk for minutes between sets and just hold up the bench. My new gym is small, more hardcore. Its sucks because now i'm one of the little guys at 6' 255lbs..LOL. but now I am being pushed to work harder and the guys seem really cool..they offer spots without me asking if they see me doing something heavy. Its all good.

i went in new years eve as well DE squat/DL day of course some idiots were curling in the rack i stood there waited for them to finish their set they started to walk away i asked if tey were done they said yes and left the bar with all those 2.5 lb plates on it

Thats when you want to wrap them in the head with a tack hammer and pour alcohol in the wounds and stick 3 cc of jurox suspension in each body part....or is that just me?

some guys in my gym uses the cage to do inline presses with a adjustable bench. there are two cages and 2smiths in my gym. On arm day i superset with cg benches in the smith and the cage for my curls. I do it late at night though when the gym is not busy.
