guess it's about time to do my friday workout

awesome bran! i'm working my deads up 10lbs/wk til i'm at where i left off. i left off in the end of april at 215 5x5 then pulled 305x1 the following week. this past week i worked 195 for 4x5, 1x10. felt pretty solid.

warm up set 2 over with. bout to go pound the kids skulls together if they don't stop fighting.
 
ok, ready for work sets. just yelled at the kids. going to go light today, 75lb 5x5 bb curl. i left off at 110lb, but that was just over a month ago. i'll get back up there in a few weeks no problem.
 
ok, mid set, both kids come running up to me....

DADDY! SHE HIT ME!

I'M GONNA HIT BOTH OF YOU IF YOU DON'T KNOCK IT OFF!

they both slinked away. damn.

ah, feels good. first direct bi workout in a while.

i swear, those kids are gonna damn get it if they don't knock this shit off. they're just about to get the daddy "knock it off" growl. that usually puts some fear into them about what's going to happen if they don't behave.

this 75lb shit is too light. should've gone 85. i'll do 85 next week. then 95 the following, then back to 5lb incriments. my last completed 5x5 on BB curls was 105lbs. i failed 110lbs.

"daddy, can we play playdough on the table?"

for the 10th time in 2 days, NO! you kids get that shit EVERYWHERE and i don't want to clean it up.

ok, i didn't say shit, i said stuff. but still.

set 4 baby, then some iso movements.

well, the kids are now "out of the way."

mid set, they both come into the room, one on each side of me in front of me. it started again....

"DADDY! she hit me!"

i'm about to yell at them, when one of the cats decides to come up behind me and rub it's head on my bare calf. that startled me a little. i kinda jumped a little bit and turned and.....uh.....hit both kids with the BB.

so they both start crying, at which point i pounded out my last rep, put the bar down, and reminded them that i told both of them to stay out of the way, and since they can't listen, to go to their rooms til i'm done.

fuck.

set 5 baby, here i come :evil:

Between sets I'm doing something useful like stretching the muscles before my next set. :) However, I am planning on video taping my 1000lb leg presses, hopefully by the end of June.

I can hardly wait to see your posts after wrist curls. It will be a bit like watching the special olympics.
 
yeah, i usually stretch between sets too, and i'm doing a little bit, but only so much i've found to stretch a bicep and forearm, ya know?

special olympics typing...yeah lol i don't think jerking off in the shower after this workout will be an option. we'll see.
 
iso curls, done, 3 sets.

i think my right arm needs more work. it's smaller than my left, even though i'm right handed. broke my left arm when i was 7, pretty bad too. i would think it would be the smaller arm. oh well.

reverse curls or hammer......hmmm......
 
Crak -- you tough guy you..... now the kids will be traumatized for life since they got whacked by the bb......

I did cardio and a 2nd day of abs/calves.....so there....

wish i could do calves here at home. my calves are only 1/4" bigger than my bis/tris. need to make sure they stay bigger. already did them twice this week though.

hammer curls won out over reverse. set 1 down. add weight, go to set 2.
 
You know if you keep posting, you'll never get your workout done....

what are you talking about?! i've already done BB Curl 5x5, 3 sets of iso curls, and just did my 2nd set of hammer curls, one more to go. after this 3rd set, it's on to wrist curls and workout is done.

plus i'm in the same room as the computer, so not like i have to go far to post.

set 3 i cant even negative a palm down wrist curl. weights here suck, can't go up in 5 lb incriments. gotta go up lke 8.8lbs or something. ow well.

this isnt any fun with out anyone else posting. shuld i get the hint? (btw hunt and peck method work goood for typoing irhtg now)
 
the torture, the torture.....ABS. at least it's over with. damn.

modified 6"....did some decline sit ups yesterday, so i figured the modded 6" would be good for today.

forearms feel better now. time for walloping protein shake.

I think upper arms size is supposed to be = to calves
 
is it? i thought you wanted your calves to be slightly bigger. well, they're close anyway.

You know, if you were really working out hard.....you wouldn't be able to lift your arms to type at all.....you'd have little "gator" arms......

actually, my recovery is pretty fast. i'll do a leg day and barely be able to walk from the cage to the water fountain after the last squat set, but 20 minutes later i'm fine.

i never claimed to have really big arms though (or the rest of me being really big for that matter). they're just over 15" actually. that, however isn't too bad considering that last september they were just over 13". hoping to break 16" by the end of the year.
