I'll wait for some more responses then I'll reveal the listing price.

Mine's right hey.

lol not even close

 At least do the higher/lower thing.

The value is not the house, its the land. I bet if you look up the total assessment it is all land (75%) the house maybe even less.

$849,000 here

The value isn't even the land, it's location (D.C.).

What a steal. The price you have to pay to say you live on the east coast.

its getting pretty bad, I don't really know who is going to buy all our houses, I'm thinking all the value is paper now for sure.

Based on a relative comparison between that $260k house and ours, I'm thinking ours is worth maybe $190k. $200k if you tear down the outhouse.

My house is about 4 times that size for about 100,000. In the midwest.
i know. i lived in Illinois for almost all of my life
the midwest is where everyone and everything is real
i gotta get back to reality

this house is in new canaan (fairfield county)
blows hartford or pretty much any other town in CT away as far as cost of living being ridiculously high

ya i'd def pay 300k more for 2500 square foot less.. for an area that prob. isn't even that much better..
dude it's fuckin ridiculous trust me
i lived in that town for 5 yrs
its surreal living there

(id never in a million years move there either. not unless I was already a milionaire or something)

land = latitude, longitude

I got to teach you everything.

The land the house is on sure ain't $260k-worthy, but what's nearby is. That's what I meant.

Heck the house probably brings down the value of the land...

my guess was 250-280ish.

can demolish it and build a larger house lot permitting (or at least build upward, small 2-3 story townhouse type).
not bad if it's that local/centralized.

think of the 1000 per sq. foot you pay in manhattan.

probably about 300sq foot for even a studio here that is centrally located

it's listed for 600k but i guarantee you it won't appraise more than low 500kish. Probably has been sitting on the MLS for months

the seller is on crack. some of these people have retarded listing prices sitll thinking they're in the peak of the market.

had a client im refing. tried listing their house at $730,000 recently..Just appraised at $500,000.
it was worth $730,000.........2 years ago. really nice house though. if you can buy it at $500,000 it's a super fuckin steal

too woodsy for me.

i love my house just fine

Wow that is crazy! I can get a stucco home down here for that price.

What's messed up is that city people sell their P.O.S. houses like that for $600,000 then move to places like where I live and build a mansion for $400,000.

This in return drives property taxes up for us locals.

I can't count how many huge houses are currently being built around me by people from Florida, Texas, and up north.

They are also sick of the crime by the growing illegals entering the country and also areas being overtaken by blacks and hispanics.

Good ole USA! Your politicians have destroyed it.

thanks for making new orleans look better and better! :artist:

location location.............here in jersey..........if its down the shore(spring lake area) it would cost about 400k...........about an hour away in camden it would be probably around 75k

that is not a house, it' s a shack. it would cost more in anne arundel or howard county
