greetings from shanghai china

hi guys, im in shanghai. ive been here the past week or so, and ill be here till september, then im off to tokyo. its like a sauna over here, but the enviornment is amazing. the shopping is awesome (really cheap clothes /food/ 5 dollars cad equivalent to a six pack of heiniken) and great looking women. the great thing is that all the dudes here are even uglier than i am , and since im asian they think im chinese and i get my pick of the litter.
also if youre white, you shoul dhave no problem getting any over here cuz they all want green cards. the city is absolutely immense and congested. i was here 6yrs ago but its gotten so more developed in that time. i love it here and i hate it in vancouver. god i cant wait to move out of that hellhole.

seattle was better than vancouver, amsterdam/hamburg/bangkok/berlin..every city ive been to has been better. let me warn you, dont go to vancouver its got a few nice lookking pine trees but that quickly wears out after awhile.

oh ya the gw is amazing. i went ther ein 2001. but its mostly by beijing, shanghai doesnt really have any sort of historic landmarks..just skyscrappers after skyscrapers. very modern and congested city. its beautiful tho.. u should travel here with ur kids!

well ive been living there for 7yrs. before that in asia. but the reason i dont like it is that while the city is extremely scenic and beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous mtns and lakes, there really is NOTHING to do once u go out of vancouver. and downtown vancouver itself is about 3 square miles. so you can imagine this tiny island of bars, beach, and restaurants surrounded by miles and miles of trees, ugly houses and industrial sprawl. u quickly run out of things to do in vancouver. the bud here is good, but to be honest man, i havent really tried any other bud to compare. ive tried bud from seattle, but really.. bud is bud. doesnt really matter whether its from amsterdam , cambodia or bc.

no motherfuckin way. You have no idea how spoiled you are. The bud in amsterdam is COMPLETELY different than the US. I mean, light years. The high, the look, the taste...no comparison. FUnny thing is i've heard countless times that amsterdam and BC are almost identical budwise.

and yeah, the 3 squrae mile thing kinda sucks. i'm sure that gets played out.
