I made it over to Beijing, got checked in and started seeing stuff. Today, Ming Tombs and the Great Wall. 17 hour flight = dreadful....in any class.

I'm really having fun, though the hard work starts soon enough...somehow though, I will make that fun too.

More updates as I progress: on to Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh city, Singapore and matbe Hong Kong.

Last night in Beijing. Good times. Interesting city- yes, they've begun construction on the Olmpic sites, in fact, the entire city is essentially a construction site for Olympics sites, office towers, or high rise housing. Where there is not construction, there are street vendors. Driving here is not for the weak or faint hearted...for that matter, neither is being a pedestrian.

I went to the Great Wall, Ming tombs, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.

Off to Shanghai tomorrow for a few days. After that is Viet Nam, and then Hong Kong or Singapore, or both.

Shanghai is pretty fun !!! so much $$ is there, if you get a chance, check out the Shanghai musuem pretty interesting history you will find there. so many people out in the streets where ever you go....Hong Kong is pretty nice too, stayed in Kowloon and metroed over to HK island...even paid $1.00 to ride one of the sampan boats...
