Yes you have to sterilize it yourself but its a lot cheaper then getting it already sterile and paying for express shipping. If you don't have the filter, sterile vials, and big syringes to filter it already then id get the sterile oil as time is an issue. But for future reference it's more cost effective to do it yourself. It just takes a little work.
