Grams of protein...

I think it depends on the individual and their tolerance as well as training routines and lifestyle etc.I recommend that people consume 1-1.5 grams protein per pound of bodyweight.Also it depends on your goals whether bulking,cutting or maintaining.
 
Mr. BC> I agree with you. My question is whether or not there is a certain amount the body can metabolize in a given period of time. Like 40 grams at a sitting, or something like that.

It is my personal belief that you can only utilize 40-45 grams protein in a given time period of about 3 hours.As i said it is my personal belief but i think that this is till a hotly debated topic research wise.
 
Mr. BC > Thanks. It seems that between 40-50 is where this is heading. But like you said, it IS hotly debated and I haven't been able to find any resources to back up either way.
