Got Promoted

this is definately a me me me thread,but since I have never made one before I shall now.

as you guys know I just got married Nov 10th,had a great honeymoon,came back been busting my nuts just plugging away,began to think about how long id just stay bottom rung in a job I love but felt I was better than.

well not even a week back from the honeymoon my boss calls me in to the office and wants to talk. I started shitting bricks thinking I was gonna get canned,then he goes on to talk about the afternoon supervisor is leaving because his work exchange is up and that they feel I would be great for the job because I have caught on so quickly and take charge when its needed.

so as of December 22nd I take my new position as afternoon supervisor, I will miss mornings even though it was a 430 start, I was done by noon like today and doin whatever I wanted after that. but the wife was worried I wasnt making enough to really contribute so I had to take the new position.

just wanted to share,Im pretty happy about it

nah the wife makes the scrape,but I have a pretty big debt load she took on so we could get a lower interest rate so she is jsut worried about me not making enough to pay it off and her credit getting dinged, she is happy I love what I do,its low stress which means Im happier at home and I can get flexible hours for when we raise kids and then I can cook,cuz damn she cant cook at all.

guess I just kinda wrote it like shes a bitch but she really isnt,just worried Ill end up sticking her with my pre marriage debts which I think is a valid concern.

Mountain-the border is now open to canadian beef however there are still tons of hoops to jump through, I think Ill be looking after these poachers myself,I was in my sunporch last night getting my boots on to go out and a shot went off so close I thought it was aimed at me, so I called the police and they said its too rainy and foggy to go out looking for the culprit and I should post signs of no tresspassing and try and get a licence plate number from the vehicles I never see
