Got hurt what to do to keep gains.

Well I've been finishing PCT of a X-tren/Winstrol (injectable) Cycle. Did Xtren for 6 weeks @ 90mg and Winny at 10 weeks @ 1CC EOD. Gained 18lbs and hardened up pretty well. On 3rd week of PCT Nolva, Formex and other supplements. Have kept most gains but lost a little which I figured was the water from the tren. Now I found out I have tendonitis in the forearm. It started right at the end of my cycle and I tried to work through it but it got to the point where I couldn't even open a jar of PB. Doc says I need to rest minimum of 3 weeks. What should I do to not lose what I've gained. It seems like I'm stuck to cardio and legs. Never been injured before while working out so wondering how to keep what I've gained if I can't lift.
 
Im sorry to hear that man. Same thing happened to me. Finished up a cycle of Tren Xtreme and partially tore my pec. Twice. Wish I could give you advice but both times I lost alot of what I gained on the cycle so obviously what i did didnt work

Apparently the muscles can handle the extra weight lifted but the tendons can't.
 
widow maker squats. the tendons may heal in 2 weaks. no biggie.
 
eat alot during ur rest period, use some mass gainers and a nitric oxide supp. it'll help u recover fast and keep ur mass.
 
What are those? Haven't heard of them.

low weight high rep squats to failure. guess the weight that you could hit 20 reps with then go till failure. you can teake a couple breaths between reps as you go up just dont rack the weight until your quads cant handle the load anymore and mage sure every rep is ass to the floor

Haha so true Nelson, I can't beleive I am 42 and having knee my knee rebuilt. Damn getting old sucks.
Just work around and let it heal. You did good on your cycle but the problem was you gained too much strength for your tendens to sustain.
Winny is good for collegen growth its just the quality of the collegen sucks and that is your down fall. Next time add something that wont be so harsh on your joints.

Welcome to the club :( . My left forearm has a case of tendonitis so bad that I have to steer with my knee when I drive a stickshift. It's an egg-size lump just up my arm from where my watch would go, and on the thumb side. Feels like a broken off knife blade is floating around in there. My doctor says the same thing; rest for 3 weeks. I've kept working out but being careful. It only hurts with certain movements, and luckily benching and curls don't hurt. For tricep pushdowns, which I usually mainly use a high pulley for, are a problem. I found that using the triangle attachment doesn't hurt near as much as the rope or the straight bar. Most everything else in my routine is do-able, with care. So f I lose a little in the tricep department, I'll build it back as soon as I can. I take Advil before each workout, and that helps kill the inflammation and pain decently.

I hope yours (and mine) gets better quick!

Thanks for all the advice. I figured I could only work legs. Would it matter if I tried to do a cut while healing? Upping the cardio and eating a little less? I would like to get the body fat below the magic 10. I had it tested in a bod pod a week ago and came out at 14.9%.
 
i personally wouldnt cut in pct. id wait until the next cycle but thats just me.
 
i know how u feel bro. i finished myself just before xmas. i gained around 12lb and was out for an xmas doo and slipped on some ice and have done my wrist elbow and sholder in. this was a month ago and still cant life any weights. all i can do is legs but have lost around half of what i gained and shrunk a lot in the mirror. :( give me another week or two and ill be back boys. lol
 
tendonitis isnt realle a big deal to treat. just prevent your self from hurting it and it will go away. next time it happens just start letting it heal as soon as you notice it.

Thats what the doc said. First time I've ever gotten hurt though so it scared me at first. Worst part is wanting to lift but knowing you can't. Oh well, just focus on legs finish PCT and hit it hard when I heal. Already trying to figure out next cycle. Is Test E a good beginner injectable? (besides winny) What would be a good stack with it? I know I can get Deca but would like to try Anavar.

luckily for you you can squat. squats are a full body w/o that wont upset your tendonitis. there are probably some others you can do that are upper body that wont hurt. try it out. if you feal pain its no good. if you feal no pain its fine to do.
