Would anyone be interested in starting a thread where we all post a 7 point bf test and post our goals for the summer?
Every two weeks or so we could get it redone and post the results of the test.
My thought is that we could all support each other and help each other reach our goals.
I thought this would be a good place to put this up because the peeps on C&C seem pretty tight. Plus, both men and woman could post and support each other.

Thoughts?

sure, send me some calipers. although I have to warn you I am perma bulking, so fatloss is doubtfull.

7 pt bf test? sounds like a lot of work. i wish i had a water tank in my back yard...
 
I have to do one today, anyway. Will get back to you later as I am alone with a two year old, and I doubt she could handle my subscapular and triceps measurements. My BF% is high anyway but is going down. I check every Sunday evening.

i think you should start bulking, your already cut to shreads
 
You shouldn't need calipers. Get it done at a university or something a couple times when you're pretty lean and when you think you're really lean. You'll get a solid feel for it.
I'm at like 7% now, and am aiming for 5% or under come fall. I'm down for hearing others updates but I'm not doing a 7 pt caliper test. Post pics or something.

exactly, pics are a much better, much easier way of doing this.

I've posted 'before' pics about a couple weeks ago, and I will post some more again at the end of the summer. so far the fatloss is going very well.

I think pictures with measurements would give a good idea of progress for everyone. Sometimes pictures don't tell the whole story... sometimes the measurements don't...

Am I the only girl on this thread? I don't mind at all. I do the 3 point test every 2 weeks. I "taught" myself how to do it. Needless to say, I don't think its accurate. This will force me to get my bf test done by someone that knows what they are doing.

Slat good idea bro..... you should start it now I'm getting my BF tested next week and cutting over the summer. Its good for advice/support I agree

there are some online BF tests that take weight/waist/hip/wrist measurements and shit like that and give u a percentage in return. From what I've heard, they are pretty accurate.

AS long as you are using the same method each time, you can track changesd, which is what calipers are best for anyway.
 
I get mine done at the gym. If I do it myself I screw it up... probably cheat too. I've got a set of Lange's though.. they are sweet.
