Heya dankduke

There are heaps and heaps of genres out there but I'll list some of my faves here for you! All good stuff IMO
I use Soulseek (filesharing program,
www.slsk.org) to download most things, but if you go to
www.djmixes.2k.com you can find a regularly updated list of new live sets for download. Just scroll down and the sets are there. Also check out
www.tranceaddict.com They have heaps of good stuff to download as well.
If you are looking for something with singing in it you are most likely after some trance or progressive. Here are a few DJ's that play that kind of thing so you might want to do a search and get some sets.
Paul Van Dyk - (seen him live twice now!! he's the best)
Armin Van Buuren
DJ Tiesto - (really good set of his up atm at djmixes2k)
4Strings
Johan Geilen
BT (Brian Tranceau)
Some of those DJ's can play pretty hard stuff mixed as well. I've heard that PVD has been playing alot of breaks on his recent tour of the States. Paul Van Dyk is excellent! My advice is to get as many livesets of his as you can find.
Now if you want to get your blood going and dance hard then get yourself some hard trance

(my personal fave atm)
Mauro Picotto
Kai Tracid
DJ Scot Project
Cosmic Gate
Hennes and Cold
Hard-Style is also good. It's like hard-house. Check these guys out if you can find any. I just saw both acts live a little while back and they went off!
Yoji Biomehanika
Lab4
Charly Lownoise
Lady Dana
Drum n' Bass. This style of music is awesome. Full of beats, breaks, drums, its all good! Hard and fast:
Deisel Boy - (look for a mix called Project Human. It will own you)
Concord Dawn
Bad Company
John B - (look for John B - Trance n Bass. It's a really good mix)
Psychadelic Trance - Stuff to freak you out.
Juno Reactor (recently did some music for matrix revolutions)
Hallucinogen
Infected Mushroom
Astral Projection
That should give you a pretty good start. I'ts always good to hear that someone is getting into electronic music!
