Big one too, i'll probably put a salt water tank in there.

My office has a window. I keep it closed because if it's open it heats up my office like a hotbox. I think the A/C vent doesn't work well in there or something. Pretty lame, considering it's one of the only offices w/ a window and I keep it closed like a dungeon. However, I make no where near the money you do.

Don't get me wrong though, job satisfaction is average at best, my job is to make other people rich in essense. I'd love to work for myself, something I was passionate about.

yeah, I could live for a few years very comfortable with my savings level now (over 250K).

I have thought about starting my own consulting group, its rather easy considering my background, job skills, and professional network. Many people at my company (large fortune 500) spin off to do their own thing and use this company as one of their first clients!

BUT I've got job stability here, great benefits, all of that stuff. I get 4 weeks vacation which turns into 5 weeks per year in just over a year's time. I live in one of the best cities in the world, etc.

Tough to walk away from into the big unknown ya know?

If you are happy, i'm happy for you. Remeber this though. If you work or yourself, you should be able to turn that 5 weeks of vacation into 6-8 weeks or more. Especially once you implement your team and have them doing all your consulting jobs. Make yourself richer, not someone else. With your skills, you should be a millionaire in 5 years or less. Just saying!

I'm hoping to bank 7 figures here within 5 years, will be tough, in 10 years, yeah for sure, but 5 would be a feat. I save over half my gross, no car payment, modest rent, no expense, etc.
