Yes, but they will grow to be a mainstay in your routine once you see how much they strengthen you squat and deadlift.

I first tried seated....don't know if I cared for them...didn't feel like I could get low enough....after watching your vids I realized I didn't have my legs spread far enough apart.

I then did standing, knees bent, back straight. Felt much better, but I seemed to get allot of stares in the gym....I didn't think my form was too far off.

What kind of weight are you supposed to use on these? (for instance what % of your squat.) I know you need to start low and work your way up, but is there some goal you should be trying for?

Rojas, I use these to guage my carry over to squat. I use about what I squat. So on the chain suspended 36" ones, that's about 430 pounds.

Ironlion...I don't think that's it. Project gets the looks too.

My wife won't do pull-throughs at her gym for just that reason.....
