My cordless phone is a "static-y" piece of shit. Anybody have a good recommendation for me? I have one of those vtech 900Mhz VT 9151 phones right now.

I have a GE 900Mhz w/built in answering machine. (Model# 26990GE1-D) It works great. No static at all.
I know for a fact that my incoming line is really bad. One of the other phones in the house has a radio station coming through. It's like the phione itself was a radio, it's so bad. But no problems at all with the GE phone.

GO LOOK IN SHARPER IMAGE. THEY HAVE THE NEW 5.4GHZ PHONES.

If you don't want to drop mucho cash - a 2.4ghz works very well, and is a big improvement over 900mhz. Try your local Circuit City/Best Buy - look for an open box - cost less - same warranty. If you are ok with online purchases - find a brand/model number you like, plug it into Google.com, and take 10 minutes to find the cheapest price.

warik - do you have a wireless net setup at home? those interfere with wireless phones (not cell phones)
