Good Books

how to master the art of selling
by tom hopkins

good book on how to improve your skills as an entrepreneur. not just learning how to sell products or services, but learning how to understand and manipulate people's minds.

I always recommend "NAKED" by David Sedaris. I swear I've gotten more than 20 people to read it and EVERY ONE OF THEM said they read it from cover to cover without stopping because it was so damn funny.

I read "The Terrible Truth About Liberals" by Neal Boortz in its entirety today at Barnes & Noble. Interesting and fact-filled book. I would find it very enlightening if I didn't already know everything it presented. I would highly recommend it to individuals such as RyanH, 2Thick, and musclebrains.

That's the first book I've read voluntarily in several YEARS with the exclusion of Ayn Rand's "Anthem" - also an excellent book.

Art of War by Sun Tzu. Not for everybody but a good read to get you thinking and change attitude. Eastern Philosophy stuff.

The Fab Five by Mitch Albom. The story of the Michigan Wolverine team with Webber, Rose, Howard, Jackson and King that went to the final as freshman. Cool book if you like college sports and what's behind it all.

DERAILING DEMOCRACY was a splendid read in the art of imperial practices by "republics" of the 20 century

also by jerry fresia...south end press

U]towards an american revolution[/U]
"exposing the constitution and other illusions"
