Gonna start cutting soon, how much cardio?

So Im gonna start cutting in the next few weeks. Ive been bulking for a few months, and gained a total of 23 pounds at the moment. I notice quite a bit of muscle growth all over my body, and Ive actually gained vascularity everywhere except my chest and stomach. Not sure what my BF is so Im not sure how much I want to lose. Im gonna keep my lifting the same, but how much cardio should I be doing? I of course want to keep muscle loss minimal.

Thanks

keeping muscle loss to a minimum = no cardio

all you are trying to do eat less calories then your burn. If you have to eat 2000 calories a day to keep your body from shutting down, then you need to be burning 2500 calories a day. you could do some steady state cardio to reach that 2500 calories burned each day, but why do a muscle eating activity?

Add in some 'cardio' with weights, like some of the 25 rep squat/press/pushups/ect programs that are around here. These short yet intense workouts will burn calories, but with a lot less muscle loss then most other types of cardio. Plus, they should not mess with your normal weightlifting to much.

it might be hard to realize that you can lose fat with out running an hour every day :qt:

Depends on your current bdy weight and bdy fat...

I would start with maybe 3-4 sessions in the am on empty stomach... then see how your body responds... and add/decrese sessions from there

also it all depends how your diet is.

maybe some high rep work would be best. i like high speed workouts anyways. ill do some research and find a decent high intensity routine.
