Golfed a 82 today!!!

Shit, I forgot to mention the par was only 58

I just like telling people I golfed a 82.

They were basically all par 3's with a couple par fours, but I have only been playing for a couple months. I got a few pars, mostly boogies and double boogies, nothing worse than a double.

What kind of course has a par 58? Is it a special kind of course? All the courses I play have a par of 70, 71, 72.

I did play a par 3 course at the beach a couple of weeks ago and shot a 25 on 9 holes. Would have played 18 but it had been raining and was kind of messy.

14 par 3's, 4 par 4's, very small course, but it was cheap and fun

There are a bunch of them around where I live, they call them executive courses. Mostly Par 3's, maybe a few 4's, no 5's.

Since you've only been playing for a couple of months, allow me to give you your first lesson.

It is phrased: "I SHOT an 82 today!!"

The word golf should never be used as a verb, as in "I GOLFED an 82 today!!"

That's the same as saying, "Barry Bonds sure baseballed well today." It just doesn't work.

If you were shooting 10 under par, no one would believe you because you sound like a moron in the way you present the information.
