Gold's let me lift for free today.

I am back home from school for Thanksgiving and my membership at Golds is on leave of absense. I was expecting to have to pay the day fee, but they let me lift for free, which is something that I would never expect from a place like Golds. I just wanted to share how nice Golds was.

I've gotten the opposite end of that specter brother. I tried to lift at a Bally's once when I was in Florida, and they said that they don't do day or week passes, and that I couldn't pay by the day either. I thought that was rediculous. Basically, they said that we don't want your money out-of-towner. Whatever. Spends just as well at a privately-owned gym.

I travel to Portland for work often, the Bally's there just gives me a free week's pass with no hassle. That's Bally's in Florida sounds pretty fucked up.

Shit...One time at Gold's in Deerfeild (florida) about 4 employees circled me, thinking they were bouncers or some shit, just to tear up my travel pass and tell me I cant use it there. Guess my 14$ membership doesnt stretch that far. Got a whole stack of travel passes, still pissed me off though.
