I can usually figure out which team is which quickly by noticing a jersey name
but that doesn't work in a US match because our team is so diverse

i'm happy the US came to play and matched Italy's dirty, aggressive play

now i have heartburn though, i wanted italy to win, not tie

and i have never seen so many red cards in my life thrown so easily

Italy's red card was deserved, but the US ones were iffy

Italy came out strong in the second half and dominated for about 20 minutes
then there was about 10 minutes in which the US was attacking and I thought they were in better condition
but the last third of the half was constant Italian attacks
the US goalie really came through

I played soccer for 3 years in high school so I can follow a game
but prior to this match I couldn't name a single player on either team
it was a very physical game
