Just got a internet quote on an 05 Tacoma reg cab 4 cylinder automatic
MSPR: $16,115
QUOTE: $15,388

Almost $400 more than V8 Chevy reg cab.

Decisions, decisions ...

Pick, where are you getting these quotes from? Not that I don't believe you, but there options and stuff I'm interested in and would like to do a little research.

I've submitted quote request from local dealers. The Tacoma request was from the same guy I purchased my 05 Corolla from.

You can go to Edmunds.com and request quotes from several area dealers at once.

I have a Camry and a Celica. I don't need two cars, so I am needing/wanting a truck.

I won't comment on the lacking elsewhere part. I'm afraid my nose might start growing outward.

So words can't describe how much you're lacking? ;)

If you're worried about gas milage though, you'd spend the extra $400 for the Tacoma. If you drive a lot, you'll save at least that much in the first year alone.

Yeah, I don't really drive that much. Gas mileage isn't much of a concern.

I may just wait until I see rebates on the Tacoma.
