Going with the '05 Tacoma

Most likely. Just need to work out some minor numbers, and I'll be trading in my 300m. I test drove it earlier today, and was impressed. $19,459 for the truck, and were willing to give me up to $16,000 [owe $16,951 and dropping] for my car so it's just a matter of time. Not too bad of a wash for the upgrade.

After the holiday I'm going to go see what Nissan will offer, then play them off of each other. End of June a deal I plan on having the deal made.

I've had mine for two months and I LOVE IT.

Great little truck. 4 door is the way to go. Don't get the short bed. It is SHORT.

Go for it. You will love it!

I had the car salesman from hell yesterday :worried: ....good luck. :)

I think that you should have kicked him in the shin and drove back to the dealewrship without him. ;)

Pick, American vehicles have let me down. I was a die hard supporter of them, but have been burned time and time again.

Starfish, that sucks to have a bad dealer. I give them the impression that I can walk away at any time and be fine with that.

I have some time to kill tomorrow so I'm going to visit the dealerships in my area [Philly, since I'm home for the holiday] just to get a better feel.

"The one who wants the deal the most gets the worst deal."

k for all.

I currently own an 05 Corolla, but to be honest I've never had any real problems with any new cars I've purchased. Even my 03 Dodge p/u ... except for the 11-12 mpg.

I'm thinking about getting a truck again too. The new Tacoma is going through some growing pains being a new year model. It's experienced some very "Un-Toyota" quality issues including leaking windshields and paint chipping problems.
