This is kind of side question, but what kind of testing procedures do they have in powerlifting, or in the strongman for that matter?

I don't know about powerlifting.. but there are NONE in strongman.

Also.. it's really none of our damn business if the dude is on steroids or not.

i heard a while ago that somebody who lifted in the USAPL had a guy show up to his doorstep and asked him to take a piss test. that was the last time he had anything to do with USAPL

Do they actually have rules that just aren't really enforced, or are there simply no real regulations?

I think the way it works is, there's federations that drug test, and those that don't. USAPL is one of the ones that tests.

The IFSA will test me this year, so they say.

I'll have to stop the use of several drugs that I take before they test me...so that I can pass. Marijuanna, cocaine, heroin, etc...

They will drug test...for rec drugs. (the only drugs which have killed strongman in the past)

I can't imagine that.

A beer after 2.5 hours would be WAY too warm.

I suggest you drink one every 15-20 minutes... you'll enjoy them MUCH more.
