going to smoke some weed!!!

hey guys today is leg day, do you guys ever smoke up on leg day?


i find that i get great back and leg workouts slightly stoned as my concentration goes through the roof, i dint get messed up but ill smoke like a 2$ chunk and i find it works great!

i find when im doing something like leg presses or squats that i really push myself to the max!!! and im usually sore for like 5 days after i love it!!!!

im not syaing that smoking weed is good, im just saying that in moderation marijuana can help you push yourself hard, and with good control i munch out on good food like tuna, beef, brown rice ect. i think it realy helps:)

btw: i also heard that it lowers bp, but im not sure that would be good for the body while on dbol/sust/drol or anything like that

Ive tried this before it makes you make bad food moves and can make me lazy any way, if it works for you keep it up, but Ive heard it does something to help you produse estrogen so investigate.
 
i smoke weed no big friggin deal, i dont smoke all day until i get home but hell after a hard intense workout i light up a big fat swisha sweet, funny cuz when i hit arms and then i try to smoke i can barely hold it to my mouth cuz my arms are sooooo pumped

I'll admit that getting totally boned before a workout probably isnt the best strategy, but he said that he isnt getting totally f'd up. He uses a little bit to take the edge off. When you factor in that he probably uses ECA or other uppers before working out (I know I do) it negates any "laziness" or whatever *bullshit* ppl wanna say about getting high. Also, IT WORKS FOR HIM. He is merely sharing a facet of his training. Too many people around here just sit there whackin it waiting for a chance to flame someone so they can have a small sense of belonging. Bitches...

Lots of people smoke week, thats just the way it is. Some are succesful and some are bums it just depends on the person. The guy is just sharing something that works for him , there's no reason to flame him. Besides, weed is nothing compared to some of the shit some people take.

Good point. They're both illegal and supposedly unhealthy to some degree. However I gave up the weed a long time ago but refuse to give up the juice.

Listen here dude. Everyone here knows that weed and steroids are both drugs(just different types)but this is the anabolic discussion board and we discuss topics on promoting anabolism. About 98% of the people on this board will agree that weed will not help us grow muscle. This guy deserved to get flamed just for coming to this board and posting something so idiotic. There are alot of serious bodybuilders on this board who know what they are doing. If this guy thinks weed is helping him with his leg workout then he is suffering from major dilusions. We are not here to discuss whats acceptable in society and who hates who for doing it. If the guy wants to get stoned, workout, and keep posting shit like this, he will get flamed. STFU, bitch. Weed may not directly build muscle persay, but it may help relieve pain/stress associated with lifting, meaning it may be of interest to those seeking to get bigger. People who make thread topics a "black & white" discussion are often pieces of shit. If you could 'only' type about things that build muscle, you couldnt talk about some of the chemicals you read about on this board. Truth is, the guy posted something that helps him in regards to his training. Stop hatin b/c you're a pussy non-smoker.

All I have to say is this board has changed within the last year. I use to come to this board before this platinum shit started and be able to read post after post of useful info. Now we have a bunch of kids posting weed is good for muscle growth because Arnold Shwarzenegger said so. For all you idiots calling me and other members closed minded. Use some fucking common sense. Let this guy come to the gym and do legs with me while hes stoned. I guarantee he will be vomiting or past out by the time he is done after a series of dropsets and supersets.

Hey, I was not saying that weed is good for muscle growth. I'm just saying diferent people have different views on what works for them and to flame on someone for there views is not right. I myself would not smoke weed before a workout but whatever works for you

heres my situation, i have alot of stress in my life, and sometimes my workouts lag because of all the shit in my mind, all that i am saying is that when i smoke a little bit, i officially go into workout crazy mode, i force every rep harder, i am not stoned, but more along the lines of slightly buzzed, and my legs are soo fucken soar today, i had a awesome leg day yesterday and i started on the 315 for squatts, a new high for me, i am very happy

I don't smoke frequently these days, but I still enjoy some good green on occasion---does this make me an unmotivated burnout loser etc?

When I smoked Everyday (pretty much throughout my undergraduate career) was I therefore a loser who should have been screened out of this forum?

If you really believe that someone who enjoys marijuana must be unmotivated, destined for obesity, poor and without the quality chicks to "bone” not to mention the OBVIOUS inherent affection for glow sticks, pacifiers and ding-dongs then go on with your bad ass deep thinking self.

Paddycakes...I'm with ya bro. Smoking weed before a workout has really let me get in the zone a few times. I like it on lighter days when I really up the reps and try to get a fucking hardcore burning pump, like on bi's and tri's. I always take eca about 45 minutes before, then take a few tokes-just enough to get into it, ya know? That way it is an energetic high, due to the stimulants. You just have to know how to channel the weed to make it work for you. I like it. Some don't. Who cares. Do what works for you. But if you (the rest of you) sit here and flame bros for their approach, then you're being flat fucking stupid. There are alot of threads on here that aren't strictly related on how to grow. Flamers are just closed minded pricks, unless the thread is just plain rediculous.

By the way, JB25 and Riker, you bro's are REALLY barking up the wrong tree. You sound like a couple of stereotyping hypocritical bitch's. Are you fucking serious with the "not dedicated" bullshit? Im dont have anything against people that smoke weed. I use to be a heavy smoker myself and would still smoke and occasional joint if it wasnt for my job. But when someone is talking about doing it before a workout in this discussion board then thats different.

I understand you have stress in your life and we all deal with it in different ways. I myself have to mentally prepare for my workouts at times. I apologize if I came off the wrong way. My intentions were not to flame anyone but as you can see all these people are flaming me because they cant have an intelligent discussion without getting all defensive. All I can say is "To each his own".

It seems that some ppl commenting have never smoked weed, otherwise they would know there are different stages to the high and can be controlled through the amount you smoke.

I personally have never smoked prior to hitting weights, but Padycakes I'm assuming when you smoke that little bit it just gets your heart rate going a little bit faster to get you into the work-out quicker, that's how i see it working during your workout.

I have smoked a lot of weed. As I am sure most of you have. Personally, I have found the lack of oxygen my muscles get from smokeing weed or cigarettes GREATLY inhibits my workout. For that reason, I stopped smokeing weed and tobacco.

However, many of my friends who do workout with me prefer to smoke DURING their workout. Personally, I think its rediculous. But if they feel it helps them, then let them struggle through it. Its better to lift high then not to lift at all.
