I am all for military spending, I think having a strong, robust military is a good thing considering the state of the world, however, I would much rather see that money put back into our own country. For example, beef up the national guard so we can respond to things like Katrina better, or stop illegal immigration, etc.

All good points but the future money to be made is in foreign nations, that is where all the population is. We need a better balance between the two.
