Whenusing a slower ester such as test cyp or deca, how many weeks does it take before you begin to see noticable gains. Alot of guys are claiming 4-5 weeks, or longer, while I see thin in 2-3 and know others who have.

Please list your stats, length of time training, and any other details that might signifigant, and lets see if there is a correlation of any type.

Thankyou.

For myself I will say 2 weeks. Sometimes it is three, but have noticed gains in weight, and stregth within 2 weeks on my 2nd and 3rd cycle with sustanon and deca. I've seen gains on other long chain esters in 2-3 a number of times.

I'm 236 lbs this morning, 5'9" and have 4.5 years of training experience.

about 3-4 weeks. I usually start adding 10 of weight per week to my bench after week 3. I am 205 lbs 6.1 and have 4 years training. 2 with gear but was off from december till may with injuries from motorcyle accident so that is why I am so thin. I usually weigh in around the 225-235 range and that is what I am shooting for again this year.

Thanks for including your other stats guys. Most of the guys are only posting weeks, and I'm looking for some type of correlation with other factors. On another thread all the guys were saying it takes them 4-5 weeks, and most of them saying this looked like ecto's structurally, all looked under 200 lbs, and so I was wondering if not only is there a pattern, but if certain body types perpahs have a higher AR count, or greater androgen sensitivity, and seem to respond much faster initially in a cycle. I was also begining to wonder if I was an oddball, since they were all claiming such late gains, but my first bulking cycle of 250 sust/200 deca a week yielded rapid gains. I was up 15 lbs in 3 weeks and had added roughly 40-50 lbs to my bench.

However, it would appear that 2 weeks is the most common answer so far, with the number getting smaller as we progress in weeks. The more votes we get though, the better idea we will get of the true range. Keep them coming guys. Thanks.

What about diet (relating to the new sticky)? You can bet that alot of guys don't eat as good as they might think. So if they're diet isn't exactly what it should be, wouldn't that slow gains down a bit?

Thanks satch and cdownie.

Bonkme, that is certainly a factor. Also rememebr diet can effect shbg levels and androgen sensitivity also. People with lower shbg levels and more sensivite ar's will see gains much sooner.

5 weeks to kick in 5'10" 187lbs 12%bf, I start putting on water at about 2 weeks

I don't follow. If you are putting on water your hormone levels are elevated, and atually the water retention itself usually yields some strength gains, due to additional hydration in the muscles.

i doubled the calorie intake and on the sus gained a pound a day on in the first week, then strength in the second, so i chose week 2
training for 3.5-4 years

I suppose your right but I dont see any real strength gains until week 5, Im sort of waiting for things to happen until then and when they do I know it. Last cycle I sarted on Dbol for the first 4 weeks and when I dropped it I made no strength gains until the 5th week when the sust kicked in. Mind you I was dropping water but staying at the same weight but just not making any strength gains so the sust must have been doing something but I just dont see the full effects until the 5 weeks are in.

Interesting. First time I used dbol (I don't care for the bloating) I put on 8 lbs by the end of the first week, and gained strength bythen as well. I was stacking with tren, test cyp and proviron. All at low doses. I think it was something like 30 mg fren a day, 25 mg dbol a day, 200 mg cyp once a week, with 50 mg proviron a day.

No I dont like the bloating either, I was taking 35mg per day of Dbol and put on about 6lbs in the first 10 days and was expecting huge gains judging by the way everyone goes on about it and I wasnt that impressed. Sure I put on weight and strength but not massive gains, You hear guys on here saying theye put on 50 lbs on theyre bench in 2 weeks. Wow Im luck if I put that on over the whole cycle. Last cycle was Dbol and sust and I had put on 31 lbs at the end of the cycle and Ive dropped 13 since coming off 3 months ago and lost no strength. So a good cycle but Im wanting to run some compounds in my next cycle that dont make you look like a water ballon. Im not even wanting to put on lots of mass just 10 lean lbs max would do.

I cant really say becuase I always run a kickstart (usually dbol) with any long chain esters. So I always feel the gains in the first week. Especially with dbol.

Surprising that I saw a lot of 2 weeks. For me it’s in the 4-5 month range with longer chain esters, but I voted 4 months. I believe that length of “time off” plays a significant factor here. Since I’ve been on HRT maintenance, I never get that big kick that I used to, and the gains actualize at a much slower rate.

I voted for 3 but it really depends on how you're going to use them. If you front load the cycle with a gram of test and eq then 2 weeks is when you'll see gains. Just doing a low dose cycle of say 500mg of test and 500mg of eq then you probably won't see much in the way of gains until 3 or 4. 4 is when all hell breaks loose for most guys though. Gains, libido, feeling like God, etc.

i think it takes me about 5-6 weeks....its hard to say with using a kick start each cycle.

training for 4 years with a recreational drug experience somewhere in between so probably 3
