i can FEEL an injury coming on. my elbows, shoulders, knees, and wrists are killing me. after this last week of benching, my pec tendons have been getting really tight and painful. i've NEVER had this problem before

i've also been getting envious of the leaner guys lately and i know i have to lighten the weights i train with so i thought why not diet and train biceps, abs, and calves too

i'm going to do HST for training. an 8 week cycle

for diet, i will do; high protein (1.5x LBM), moderate fat, low carbs (150 on training days, 50 on non-training days) with the carbs being timed to before and after workouts. its really not that difficult to follow and should work pretty well. cals will be bodyweight x 12

hope the PL crew doesnt stone me to death ;)

I think that semi-sedentary time off with some AR work would be better for a couple weeks to a month...............

than..............

Give HST a shot. HST will accentuate any possible injury you have right now due to the overload and super slow tehcniques.

I agree with the hammer....
but i think the diet looks solid.... Sounds very similar to the diet i used to rip up this year...

jeremy, i felt the same a few weeks ago but then i realized that i love this shit too much to drop weight....so i resisted!! LOL give it a try and see how lean u can be!!! tb

hammer, thanks for the advice. i see what you're saying, but im thinking the pain will subside if i drop flat benching and lockout type movements for a while. i never had an injury from benching yet, but i saw one coming

i found my last 15,10, and 5 rep maxes on wednesday so i will start not this coming week but the week after

cool man....dont forget your roots lol

i look forward to the jeremys 500 bench pics
