yes so long as they arent on any other drugs that would make it a bad idea (if they are on other medicines, read teh label, there will be a sticker or bit in the instructions that will say something like "do not take antacisd within 2 hours of taking htis medication" or similar or if they have a kidney problem

apart from that, its fine
