GNC scams revisited

GNC's Return Policy has some major loopholes....

1.) Buy a tub of your favorite Protein Powder
** I personally prefer the 4lb tub of NitroTech at the bargain price of $70.

2.) Go to your local wholesale grocery store and look for big 5 lb bags of Nestle Quik. (They run about $5).

3.) Go home and switch the 2 and return it to your local GNC for a full refund.
** Excuses: The taste is lousy, it gave me headaches, i vomit profusely from it...be creative.

A $70 tub of Protein for $5....now thats a bargain.


(Cell tech works great with sugar...)

for Cell Tech use Cool-Aid powder if you have to colorer powder, a few packs mixed in with sugar works fine wait til its 3/4 down say the creatine gave you shits headaches and they have to honor you.

I did manage a GNC once

I know what there markup was and its actually less than many would think. Gnc has been ripped off blind by a large % of its employees. Where do you think the losses are reflected? Know what it costs to rent an average retail space in a strip center vs a mall? Its hard as hell for me to keep from seriously jacking my prices to make up for the economy and the cost of my overhead.
Ive seen paces where you can get Nitrotech for a 1/3 or more less than GNC. Hmmm why is that? Before you rip gnc (granted they do fk people over on stuff, more though on the promises of their products than the cost). What do you expect? Go to a high profile business like Bannana Republic and you want Montgomery Wards Prices?

BTW Maybe not today but ong time a go when I worked there I beieve you could return any product for a refund full or empty if dissatisfied with a receipt so why the clandestine operations?

I don't recall calling anyone names, nor did I say I was rich. But by the same token I suggest that you take stories of stealing and scamming to a board about such activities.

I can appreciate the fact that you work hard. But class envy is the root of all that's evil. The rich get breaks is a big farce, I pay more in taxes than most people make yet I use the same amount or less govt resources than the masses. Chances are, one of these people that you seem to despise keeps you employed. I tell you what, start your own supplement company and report back to us and tell how easy you have it when you run a buisness.

Your time would be much better spent doing something to better your family and yourself than petty scams on a merchant. Their isn't a way to justify your actions just because the other guy 'makes alot of money'.

GNC is doing absolutely nothing WRONG! They have higher overhead, advertise more, sponser more bodybuilding contests and circuit shows, have more visable retail space insider nicer malls... etc, etc....

That is THERE business model! it's a FREE COUNTRY and the route they DECIDED TO GO in their marketing and sales!

Because of that, their prices are higher. Another reason ANY RETAILER'S prices are higher is due to SHRINKAGE!

YOu idiots aren't helping your "cause" here. IF you truly want to HELP lower GNC's retail prices, shop at DPSNUTRITION.COM or MASSNUTRITION.com!!!
