GNC Question.

I don't bother worrying about details like that. Just get in a gram of fish oil a day.

I'm not sure but the most pure oil was supposedly from the liver of the fish. Either that or the skin. In any case, one is better than the other. As for what fish, I'm not sure if it makes a huge difference. Probably matters how and where they're raised more than anything.

Just pretend whatever you buy is REALLY awesome, like the best. Placebo Heaven.

I remember seeing 3 grams total of EPA/DHA per day as a pretty common recommendation; you might want to check articles at someplace like T-Nation.

Also, I've never heard anything about the type of fish mattering. As for what to look for, anything from a well-known brand, whether it's a supp company or the generic brand of a major retailer, should have good manufacturing methods and low levels of heavy metals and impurities.

Drop the crappy supplements 'cause they don't fucking help with anything. Buy regular, USP certified multivitamins, get ones without iron since you're a man and if you're a true man you'd be eating your red meat and spinach to get iron.

GNC is fucking garbage.

GAR-FUCKING-BAGE.

HGINB 0UJRBDN -9TDNJJ I need to get to sleep. 'night.

See you are partially wrong. GNC is good when they are running a clearence sale. I go into GNC every once in a while just to pick up a PWO shake. Usually towards the end of the week they have a small table set out with supplements discounted up to 70%. I purchased 10 Myoplex Low Carb protein bars for 25 cents each. These bars usually run in the $3.00 range. i saved myself close t0 $25. You just have to know where to look. And those who assume without going into GNC don't know any better. I will admit they are a ripoff but sometimes they do have good deals.

The fact that you shop at overpriced GNC is bad enough, then you listen to their salesmen who get perks for selling you certain items. Shop online.

T-nation is garbage.

3 grams is too much.

Have to disagree with you bor. T-nation runs some decent articles (occassionally). And considering the average diet (American) which is ultra-high in saturated fats, "OD'ing" on the fish oil is not a bad idea.

I agree that t-nation has some good stuff hidden among the mountains of BBing crap, but I'm not sure what the relevance of the second part is. Omega-6s are polyunsaturated fats, and most people here eat pretty differently from the average American.
