Glutimine....

Since there is no one reading or replying on the supp board....i figured i would throw this over here....what is your take on the glutimine issue and anyone eveer try the amp glutacine gh chewable delivery system.....and would you use it on gear or when off...

I finished my cycle recently and researched here on glutamine to see if it was worth it post cycle. The consensus is probably 2/3 people think it is garbage and 1/3 swear that it helps with cell volume and recovery.

I saw one post where a guy sited a study that showed that 1 cup of skim milk contained 1.6 grams of glutamine. I drink 4 glasses of skim milk a day(8 cups) so I decided not to supplement with it because it is a F$#kin' ripoff!
 
Yeah, but your supposed to supplement with about 20 or so grams a day. It's especially helpful when you're low-carbing it as an anti-catabolic. I found a kilo of Optimum nutrition glutamine from DPSnutrition for about $45, not too bad.

Right off the label (different label):

*L-Glutamine supplementation has been shown in numerous scientific studies to decrease the degredation of muscle protein, increase muscle protein synthesis, increase cell volume, increase immune function, maintain acid base balance, and increase growth hormone.
