Glutamine

How useful is glutamine for me and my body? If I took it on a daily basis, what are the advantages?
 
you should take glutamine all the time, at least 10 grams/day. In addition to aiding in new muscle production, it will help you to preserve muscle mass on a low cal diet and is also an immune system booster.
 
Glutamine should be taken everyday. You dont recover only on workout days....
 
definately worth supplementing...id take it before creatine anyday!
It makes sense to supplement everyday i take about 10 grams daily in btween two meals or right after a workout.

I think this is pretty dead on wrong. Cardio is CATABOLIC and WILL CAUSE muscle breakdowns. It is needed MORE on cardio days than on REST days for this reason! It should be taken everyday!

glutamine is good

its the most abundant amino acid in mucle fibers. I need to add some.
 
Yep, glutamine is one supplement I wont go without again. I think it helps me recover, and keeps me from getting sick as often. I recommend taking about 10g per day regardless of lifting or cardio schedules. Up to 20g a day would be great if you could afford it. Take it on an empty stomach when possible, to aid in absorption, or at least a couple of hours after a meal about 15 min before your next one. Good stuff!-WULF

dude take glutamine everyday...i stopped taking it for a while cause i thought it was a waste of money but i definitley noticed a difference and now that im lowering my carb intake to try and drop some fat before my next cycle its the only thing keeping my muscles full.

everyday...i used to do 5mg before workout 10mg after. you might like more or less
 
So

So before and after workout is best? 10 before 10 after? or should i go less? and on off days better to take before and after cardio?
