Glutamine: Is it overrated?

glutamine works great for me. used to cycle it 30 days on 7 off but now i am cycling my glutamine and creatine on my aas off cycle. i take 3 tea spoons per day morning post workout before bed. i think it is great for recovery.
 
I use glutamine peptides from TrueProtein.com. I add 5g of it to my PWO formula. I might even add 5g to my bedtime shake if I had a really, really good workout earlier.
 
Well, I wouldnt say its pointless, but I definitely wouldnt pay much for it.
Short of doing it IV or megadosing, you're really not going to get super results.

Still beneficial since its an amino and gives an immune system boost.
I'd go with the most cost effective form you could find.
Walmart even carries it now. (Around $10 for 300 or 400g tub-cant remember)
