Glucose and Dextrose

Ive seen both of these terms used here and it sounds like they are different.
How are they different?

One and the same thing. The proper name is D-Glucose (Dextrose glucose).

D/L - l = levrorotary...unecessary organic chemistry stuff...they also call it corn sugar
